E-Commerce Manager

Our office is looking for a qualified E-Commerce Manager to join our team.

About You:

This person would be ambitious, creative, driven, and attentive to detail. Excellent written and oral communication is a must. We are seeking someone who is a leader, has ideas, and is driven to create a seamless customer experience. You will be passionate about increasing customer traffic and driving transactions. You will be looking to create a schedule of exciting promotions and marketing initiatives in tandem with our Project Managers.

About The Role:

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for coordinating all e-commerce activities to drive awareness, new customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in e-commerce, working with Shopify, and coordinating with fulfillment centers. Working knowledge of retail operations is preferred.

Tasks:

  • Responsible for daily e-commerce operation including sales, target traffic promotions, data analysis, merchandise selection optimization (new arrival, hot sellers, slow mover items)
  • Communicate and coordinate inventory with 3PL fulfillment center, third party partners, and distributors
  • Plan marketing incentives that drive year-over-year growth (sales, promo codes, pop ups etc)
  • Perform regular Shopify admin audits (including product updates, functionality/navigation, promo codes, banners, pop-ups etc.)
  • Occasional direct fulfillment of e-commerce orders (processing, packaging, and shipping)
  • Communicating with customers via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner with timely resolution
  • Monitor site appearance for accuracy (correct name descriptions, photos, merchandising)
  • Negotiate and maintain reduced shipping rates with third party logistics partners & Canada Post
  • Fill out regular sales reports and submit to accounting / third party reporting collectors
  • Manage organization of storage units and product inventory
  • Uploading and updating products on the website making sure the price and specs are correct
  • Performing quality control on the site on various devices weekly and when a new page is launched
  • Coordinate marketing support and execution of assets with digital marketing & project managers
  • Receiving and proper storage of product shipments at an off-site facility, ensuring product is shifted to facilitate tours, release dates etc.

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce and/or retail experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of retail business acumen and e-commerce best practices and platforms
  • Working knowledge of supply chain and inventory management for e-ecommerce
  • Experience with Shopify
  • Detail orientated with excellent organization, communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills

Full-time position, available to start immediately. The approximate base pay range for this role is $45,000 – $60,000. The actual base pay will be based on various factors including the candidate’s level of skills, experience, and education aligned with the needs of the role, budget, and market.
