Stage diving into a sea of screaming fans, selling out shows across Europe and causing controversy after public controversy – Floorplan is the best band you’ve never heard of. Led by enigmatic vocalist Payton Adler, the band has earned a reputation not just for bad behavior, but for deeply honest lyrics and unforgettable melodies. As any diehard fan will tell you, their music is “the soundtrack to my f*cked up life”.

Formed in Oslo in 2022, Payton and guitarist Zach Williams met stocking shelves at their summer job. They immediately connected over a love of emo bands like My Chemical Romance, Paramore and Jimmy Eat World. The pair saw a need for more modern day music with a big sound, catchy riffs and real emotional subject matter, and began jamming in William’s mom’s garage. The duo soon recruited brothers Noah and Lucas Jensen on bass and drums and Floorplan was born. Their first concert was, fittingly, in the back of the grocery store where Adler and Williams worked.  From those humble beginnings to sold out tours across Europe in less than two years, they’ve built a loyal following, with fans describing Payton as an unpredictable, electric and mesmerizing performer. “He’s certainly not afraid to break a sweat, and you can be sure to expect the unexpected.” raved one fan online.

2026 marks a new milestone for the band with their first North American record deal, and an EP of three gut-wrenching songs. “I poured my heart into these songs. We all did.” says Adler. “This EP is a reckoning with my darkside, it wasn’t easy. This is as real as it gets.”

Their self-titled EP “Floorplan” releases worldwide in 2026.
