Video: Fionn – Picnic On The Moon | York Calling

It’s been a few months since we last shared a track from Canadian pop duo Fionn and I have to say they’ve been missed. I was so excited to see they’ve got a new track and video out. It’s an out of this world ballad called Picnic On The Moon.

The track opens with mournful acoustic guitar and isolated vocals, harking back to Fionn’s folk roots. As the track progresses, the mood lifts, building to a soaring chorus with beautifully observed lyrics that speak of nostalgia. Then, there’s the drop and the track hits its full euphoric stride.
