WORLWIDE VIDEO PREMIERE FOR “DROWN” CONFIRMED FOR THURSDAY, JUNE 12TH VIA LOUDWIRE.COM
Toronto, ON – (June 10, 2014) Theory Of A Deadman announced today an array of activity surrounding the release of their eagerly awaited fifth studio album “Savages” on July 29th via 604 Records/Universal Music Canada. The album follows 2011’s “THE TRUTH IS…” which debuted at No. 2 on the Neilsen SoundScan Top 200 Albums Chart and yielded a number of chart topping singles including the No. 1 smash, “Lowlife,” which spent three consecutive weeks at the top of the Rock radio airplay charts in the U.S.
Available today for pre-order on iTunes (click below for the link), “Savages” sees Theory Of A Deadman return to their roots. “We went back to where we belong on this record, back to the angst, back to the darkness. We veered off the road a bit on this one but it took us right to where we needed to be,” says lead vocalist and guitarist Tyler Connolly.
All album pre-orders will receive a pair of instant free track downloads including “Angel” and the album’s explosive first single, “Drown” – a multi-format rock radio hit across North America. Produced by longtime collaborator Howard Benson (Halestorm, My Chemical Romance), the single’s official companion video directed by filmmaker Rich Ragsdale (The Ghost of a Saber Toothed Tiger, Avicii vs. Lenny Kravitz, The Sword), will premiere worldwide this Thursday (June 12th), exclusively via Loudwire.com. Mesmerizing audio visualizers for both “Angel” and “Drown” are currently streaming at Theory Of A Deadman’s official YouTube channel.
For more than a decade, Theory Of A Deadman has been among the most distinctive and popular bands in hard rock, combining frank, earnest lyricism and extraordinary melodies with massive power and electrifying dynamics.
